Its publisher and managing editor was initially Peter Cole. His name was listed on the masthead for the last time in edition Vol 1, No 4. John Shand, then jazz columnist with the Sydney Morning Herald, was appointed editor in mid-1994, with edition Vol 1, No 5, and remained editor until the magazine ceased publication. With Vol 2, No 1, 1995, the magazine changed its name to Australasian Jazz ‘n’ Blues. Nine editions of the magazine in all were published, with the last edition, Vol 2, No 3, appearing in mid-1995.
