JAZZ MAGAZINE
Jazz: The Australasian Contemporary Music Magazine, or Jazz Magazine, as it was customarily referred to, began with its first edition in January/February, 1981, and was a bi-monthly. Published by Peter Brendlé and Audrey de Graff, the magazine’s initial editor was Dick Scott, best-known as a News Ltd journalist. By the time the November/December 1981 edition was published Peter Brendlé was the sole publisher and Eric Myers, then jazz critic wth the Sydney Morning Herald, was appointed editor. In early 1982 Eric Myers purchased the magazine from Peter Brendlé, and became its publisher and editor. This folder includes all editions of the magazine up to the final edition, Winter/Spring, 1986.
